The Challenge
On a drywall materials production line, the product moves continuously and had to be cut to precise length without stopping the line.
The Solution
We applied a flying shear solution: the cutter synchronises with the material speed and cuts on the fly, at a line speed of 100 m/min.
Motion is handled by a 15 kW servo combined with a 22 kW inverter.
